Kerala girl overcomes disability with courage
Jilumol Marriot was born without hands but she has not come in the way of enjoying life.
Jilumol suffered a setback when she was four years old when her mother died of blood cancer.
Jilumol accepted her disability and focused on what she could do, instead of what she could not.
Jilumol says that she is thankful to the nurses at the care centre for encouraging her to try drawing and coloring with her toes.
After completing a degree in animation and graphic design, Jilumol has been working as a graphic designer in Kerala.
She is now successful and lives independently.
