A study says that doing deep-breathing can quickly help to reduce stress.

The study was done by researchers from Stanford University’s school of medicine in the United States.

It found that some neurons connect breathing and state of mind, which are located deep in the brainstem, in the body’s breathing control centre.

It means that these neurons have a role in the breathing effects and controlling emotions.

So, slower breathing helps to make people feel calm and relaxed.
