Heat stress or body heat refers to the inability of the body to cool down and get back into the normal temperature. Normal temperature of the body is between the ranges of 36.5 – 37.5 degrees Celsius.
Body heat causes digestion problems, burning eyes, inability to sleep and others.
Here are some tips to reduce body heat and remain hydrated:
Drink lots of cold water to keep body temperature under control.
Coconut water has many vitamins and minerals and drinking it can cool down the body.
Peppermint has a cooling effect and can be added to any drink such as lemonade.
Having fruits and vegetables like cucumber, watermelon can also help reduce body heat.
