New dance program aims to include children with disabilities
A new dance program called as ‘INCLUDE’ is developed by Rebecca Rogo, a dancer and educator from the United States.
INCLUDE means Inspiring, with No Challenges or Limitations, the Universality of Dance Experiences.
The program offers ballet workshops to children with disabilities to help them enjoy dance and movement.
It also organizes sensory-friendly dance performances to make children with disabilities and their families feel more comfortable in the audience.
The idea is to break down the barriers to dance for children with disabilities and help them find strength.
