Snapdeal faces public anger over Snapchat CEO's remarks on India
Many people angry over the comments made by the CEO of Snapchat about India ended up deleting the Snapdeal app instead.
This is after a report that the Snapchat CEO said that his app was aimed for the rich and not for people in countries like India.
People started abusing Snapdeal on social media and Snapdeal co-founder Kunal Bahl had to clarify that Snapdeal was not Snapchat.
There was anger and outrage after a former Snapchat worker said that the CEO Evan Spiegel said at a meeting that the 'app is only for rich people' and that he was not interested in expanding the business to 'poor countries' like India and Spain. Snapchat has dismissed these allegations.
