Farhan Akhtar supports social campaign to save water
Bollywood actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has joined a social campaign called ‘Mission Blue’.
The campaign is started by National Geographic in partnership with NGO Water Aid Foundation.
The idea is to create awareness and empower people on saving water.
The campaign says that little actions in our daily life can save enough water for the future.
For example, washing a car twice a week instead of four days a week. Or washing clothes every alternate day instead of daily.
The campaign’s website provides information on how one can save water with such simple and useful steps.
