The Congress party held a ‘Bharat Bachao’ rally at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi yesterday. The massive rally was addressed by party President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, P Chidambaram, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh among others. The congress leaders spoke on various topics such as the issues relate toe economy, the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and women’s safety.

Sonia Gandhi spoke against the policies of the government and said, “It is the biggest crime to suffer injustice. Tell the Modi-Shah government that we are ready to make any sacrifice to protect our democracy, our constitution.”

Former finance minister P Chidambaram talked about the poor economic condition of the country while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra spoke about cases of violence and rapes against women and rising onion prices. She said, “The reality is BJP hai toh ₹100/kg ki pyaaz mumkin hai.”

“BJP wants me to apologize for speaking truth, for what I said at rally yesterday. Let them know, my name is NOT Rahul Savarkar but RAHUL GANDHI and I am never going to apologize for doing what is right,” said Rahul Gandhi.
