Covid third wave under control in Delhi, says Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the third wave of Covid-19 seems to be under control as the national capital reports lesser number of cases. Talking about this, Kejriwal said, “Third wave is ending. Around 90,000 tests are being done daily in Delhi. This is the highest number of tests in the country”.
As number of Covid cases rose rapidly post Diwali and festive season, Delhi government had expressed worries. Over 8000 cases were reported daily in the month of November causing panic as number of beds were also less in hospitals. On Saturday, as cases reported were 1333, Kejriwal said that Delhiites have fought the virus together.
The highest number of cases were reported on 11 November and the number was 8593. India has already crossed more than 1 crore Covid cases with over 1 lakh deaths too.
