Delhi records coldest November in ten years

As winter is round the corner, the national capital is bracing up for extreme low weather. According to India Meteorological Department data, Delhi will record its coldest November in ten years. It says that temperatures will dip up to 10 degree Celsius by 30 November. Usually, the state as well as neighboring areas record up to 12 degree Celsius.
On Sunday, Delhi recorded seven degree Celsius and the temperature is likely to be the same on Monday as well. On 23 November, Delhi recorded six degree Celsius which was the lowest recorded till date. October was the coldest month in past 58 years in Delhi. Cloudy skies have added to dip in temperatures.
Meanwhile, pollution levels are rising at a rapid rate in Delhi and neighboring areas. As temperatures drop, there has been rising number of Covid cases too. Government and officials have asked people to stay safe indoors as number of Covid cases are also rising.
