Dot Corporation has introduced new smartwatch in Braille for visually impaired people. The user need not necessarily know how to read Braille as it has tactile features too. The smartwatch has heavy battery life and weights light as well. It has already been introduced in the United States of America and United Kingdom. Visually impaired people from India hopes that this will be launched in the market soon as affordable prices.

Technology has helped people with disabilities in numerous ways. They are able to do things independently. This in turns, helps to boost their self-esteem and confidence. For visually impaired people who loves tech stuff, the new Braille smartwatch is a must try. Dot Incorporation has introduced an all new Braille smartwatch that is turning heads in the market. The watch has already been launched in countries like the United States of America and United Kingdom. Visually impaired people in India are now waiting for this latest technology to enter the market here.

The Many Features

This Braille smartwatch comes with not just time and date. Its exclusive alarm clock, timer and stopwatch facilities makes it worth the money spent on it. These essential features in daily life will ensure that users gets the best out of the smartwatch.

Not every visually impaired is aware on how to read he Braille. This watch has features for such users as well. It can be set to a tactile mode which does not need the user to know Braille. The time is displayed through number of dots.

Husna Ameen, who is visually impaired, is a computer trainer from Kerala. She believes that this new smartwatch is going to be path-breaking.

Usually, a person who does not know how to read Braille cannot avail exclusive facilities like Braille libraries and so on. But here, Dot Corporation has even introduced tutorials to learn Braille so that any person can use the watch. I have used talking watches which is not easily available. We can set alarms and even know time. But its main drawback is that users cannot adjust the volume. Hopefully, this new Braille smartwatch will be introduced in India at cheaper rates in months to come- Husna Ameen,

Great Start

Dot Corporation who are makers of the watch claims that this smartwatch has high battery power. This is indeed yet another feature that can attract buyers. It can last up to ten days in just one change. Since the watch is just 60 gms, users can easily wear it on their wrists easily. Dot Corporations new smartwatch is definitely sounds like a mix of comfort and style.

Social media users from across the world tweeted on the unique watch.

“Amazing! World’s first #Braille smartwatch lets you feel messages on screen”, tweeted Rick Hansen Foundation.

“Finally, someone invented a braille smartwatch for the blind”, tweeted Chris Chris Matthieu.
