Fresh accusations against Nithyananda

0
Last week, a Bengaluru resident and his wife approached the Gujarat High Court with a petition against self-styled controversial Godman Guru Nithyananda. Reportedly, their four daughters were admitted a few years back to a school run by Nithyananda. Soon after when the parents realised that their children were shifted to another campus, they tried to see the daughters but were refused by authorities at the institution. With the help of police, two of them could be rescued but their other two daughters are still held. One of the rescued daughters alleged that she underwent mental torture while at Nithyananda’s school.
Nithyananda – once a darling of The Hindu Right – is now on the run from the Gujarat police to evade credible charges of kidnapping and abusing young girls in his ashram-Audrey Truscheke, Author.
The girl alleged that Nithyananda and his workers used to make girls do various activities to raise donations for the ashram. Reportedly, they were woken up in the middle of the night and made to wear clothes and dress up to be cast in videos. Nithyananda directly instructed girls to do different things.
Girls were locked up in rooms for many months so that they would not complain to parents. The police being unable to arrest Nithyananda in spite of all the allegations have raised many questions. “Why Gujrat is heaven to Asaram like Godman? Complain have been filed against Banglore Sex scam fame #Nityananda ‘ Ashram in ahmedabad & habeas corpus have been filed for children by father. @BJP4India Govt promoting & protecting such shaitan for votes”, tweeted Congress leaders Arjun Modhwadia.
