#NewzHook2019 – Celebrating champions in inclusive education

Early intervention is crucial for disabled children and teachers play a crucial role. We dedicated a campaign to educationists who are building inclusion in education at a stage when it’s most critical.
A teacher by accident, Shiny Vinson has changed the lives of hundreds of children with disabilities.
A chance encounter led Elizabeth Philip to change career tracks and start teaching disabled kids. That personal touch is something she still brings as to her role as school principal.
For Manju Arif, a stint in England led to the discovery of the magic inclusive education can make. She was inspired to practice it back in India and has been recognised for her efforts with a national award.
Sonia Jaitley’s struggles in ensuring her disabled child had access to an inclusive education led her to launch a school for kids with developmental disorders.
Change makers who inspire us all!
