India squad for 2020 series announced

Indian cricket team has ended the year with a bang after they won the three-match ODI series against West Indies.
2020 will be started off with a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka and a three-match ODI series against Australia.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India-BCCI has announced the squads that will be taking part in the two upcoming series.
India Squad for T20 Internationals against Sri Lanka: Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, Manish Pandey, Washington Sundar, Sanju Samson.
India Squad for ODI against Australia: Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (wk), Kedar Jadhav, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami
Team India opener Rohit Sharma has been rested for Sri Lanka series as he has been playing through the whole of 2019. KL Rahul is expected to open the innings alongside Shikhar Dhawan in Rohit’s absence.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, have been included in both the squads.
The team announcements have evoked mixed reactions from fans on social media.

Arjun tweeted, ”Dinesh Karthik after playing sensible cricket in domestic games deserved indian call but not included even in India A squad ??? Is it fair ???”
