Jasprit Bumrah sets record against West Indies

Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah broke records to become the third Indian cricketer to claim a hat-trick in test cricket. His performance against West Indies on Saturday will be marked in the history of Indian cricket. Bumrah took five wickets and put up a spectacular performance against West Indies. Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan are the other Indian cricketers who has were a part of this league.

Bumrah's hat-trick was the 44th in Test history. It is also the first since England spinner Moeen Ali against South Africa in 2017. Bumrah took to his Twitter to express his excitement. He tweeted, "A day I won't forget" soon after he broke the record.

Social media was flooded with wishes and congratulatory messages for Indian cricket's new talent.

"Jasprit Bumrah is the first Indian bowler in Test history to take five-wicket hauls in Australia, England, South Africa and West Indies. And he does it on just his first tours to this countries and he's played only 11 Tests yet!", tweeted Bharat Seervi, Sports Writer.
