Jio prices to increase from 6 Dec

Reliance Jio has announced that the company is all set to raise mobile services rates by up to 40%. The new prices are to be come into effect from 6 December.
As per reports, the tariff change will start with the introduction of new ‘All in One’ plans that will offer a fair usage policy for calls to other networks.
A statement by the company said, “Jio will be introducing new ‘All in One’ plans with unlimited voice and data. These plans will have a fair usage policy for calls to other mobile networks. Although, the new plans will be priced upto 40 per cent higher, staying true to its promise of being ‘customer-first’, Jio customers will get up to 300 per cent more benefits.”
Telecom companies Vodafone-Idea and Bharti Airtel have also increased their mobile call and data charges with effect from today. Vodafone Idea new plan prices aims to get the company out of massive losses in the past few months. “In line with its commitment to provide customers with simple, convenient and affordable products, VIL has curated an optimum range of feature rich plans for both voice and data,” said a statement by Vodafone Idea.
Vodafone Idea will be offering four monthly prepaid unlimited packs starting at Rs 149. The packs vary in the data allowance and SMS quota.
The increase will be on call and data plan charges for pre-paid customers of Bharti Airtel. Airtel’s pre-paid customers will have to pay up to 42% more on their plans.
