Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese president Xi Jinping are all set to meet this month and strengthen ties between both nations. The informal meeting is scheduled for October 10 and 11 at Chennai. They had met at Wuhan in China last April. Officials point out that this latest meeting will deepen relationship between both India and China.

The Archaeological Survey of India has shut down tourist spots at Mahabalipuram near Chennai as part of the Modi- Xi Jinping visit.
