New batches of Online Group Yoga for persons with blindness/lo-vision

We at Prana Yoga Therapy Centre resolutely continue with our accessible Yoga services in diverse formats for blind & low-vision individuals. This journey started in early 2021, which was also graciously covered by Newzhook and other media, continues to improve physical & mental health of people nationally & internationally.

 

We are forming new batches of Online  Accessible Group Yoga for Persons with Blindness and Low vision from today 25 March 2023. Each batch would have 6 to 8 participants. The sessions would be 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The batches would be in 2 timeslots:

  • Morning 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM (India time)
  • Evening 6 PM to 7 PM (India time)

We are conducting 4 free demo sessions for each of the 2 batches in March on 25th Saturday, 27th Monday, 29th Wednesday and 31st Friday.

 

April 2023 onwards following would be the fee:

  • For people living in India: Rs.2000 per month, or Rs.4500 for a quarter
  • For people living outside India: Please contact us for details

Prana Yoga Therapy Centre (PYTC) is co-founded and lead by Dr. Priti Sharma and Dr. Ghanshyam Sharma, with a 30 year deep experience of learning  and teaching Yoga to a global audience and continuously diversifying. PYTC services include Yoga for Health and Healing, Teachers Training Courses (as per Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of Ayush), Therapy Yoga for Diabetes, PCOD, Ante-natal care, Backache, Hypertension, & other lifestyle disorders.

 

In the last 2 years 100+ persons with blindness/low-vision have learnt yoga for their health & fitness from our 15+ trained yoga therapists through online sessions. Two Of them with a deep interest in yoga, enrolled in our Teachers Training Course  & cleared the L3 & L4 levels of Yoga Certification Board. We also intend to make our yoga services accessible and inclusive for persons with other type of disabilities.

 

We offer yoga therapy/training sessions for health & fitness in 3 formats – personalized, semi personalized and group yoga sessions.
