Over 27 dead in heavy rains at Bihar

This year’ monsoon has been in full fury affecting almost every states in India. Over 27 people were killed in various rain related accidents across the state of Bihar. Patna, the state capital, was one of the worst affected areas. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked people to be on the alert. Also, the weather department being unable to predict rains correctly has caused bigger confusions. Road traffic was also heavily affected. Many social media users shared videos and images of flood ravaged Patna city.
#Patna made flyovers here, there and everywhere for cars but failed to make quality water drainage system for the city. Today all those cars are submerged under rain water. Here rainwater has reached to a flyover-Kumar Manish, Journalist.
Schools, colleges and other institutions across the state will remain closed until Tuesday. Many people in the state who were stranded in their homes were taken to safe spots in rescue boats. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have also been deployed in all the flood-affected areas. Many trains were cancelled due to damage in tracks. The central government has also promised aide and support to Bihar during this dark time. “It’s the most Disturbing and Hopeless situation! Over 90 people were dead due to one week of heavy rains in the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh.
