Pakistan criticised for dropping drones in Punjab

September 27, 2019

Since the last few months, there has been rising tensions between India and Pakistan, especially after the Balakot air strikes. Pakistan has been requesting international communities for talks with India but was clearly rejected. According to both India and international communities, Pakistan will not receive any help unless they curb terrorism from their soil. In a shocking move, rifles, grenades and satellite phones were dropped from Pakistan sent drones on Punjab border. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh alerted the central government and requested measures to be taken soon.

Recent incidents of Pakistan-origin drones dropping consignments of arms & ammunition is a new and serious dimension on Pakistan's sinister designs in aftermath of the abrogation of Article 370. Request @AmitShah ji to ensure that this drone problem is handled at the earliest-Capt Amarinder Singh.

The Border Security Forces (BSF) has also been put on high alert. According to reports, these drones carried materials for terrorists to be sent to Jammu and Kashmir after revoking of Article 370. The drones were seen flying fast so that they do not catch attention.

The government is looking into whether the drones have been sent by terrorists with the knowledge of Pakistani government to spy on Indian soil. "As per Punjab CM Sir... Pakistan is dropping arms consignments via Drones, has requested Centre to intervene !!!! ... ... does Pak even have the money for Drones & Drone Technology?", tweeted media person Girish Johar.
