Over the past many years, Pakistan has been grabbing attention internationally for openly supporting terrorists and related organisations. Their main target was always India, but India strongly retaliated after the deadly Pulwama attack that killed over 40 CRPF jawans. Now, most of the first world countries have openly asked Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is all set to take strong action against Pakistan due to their lack of ability to act against terrorism on their own soil. FATF, which is an international terror financing watchdog, has already put Pakistan in their dark grey list.

Pakistan To Be Put On #FATF ‘Dark Grey’ list, Issuance Of Stern Warning Ahead Of Initiating Balcklist Process, To remain On The Grey List. According to FATF rules there is one essential stage between Grey and Black List, referred to as Dark Grey-Geetha Mohan, Journalist.

FATF’s ‘dark grey’ listing means that the country will be issued a warning as an ultimatum so that they can work on improving and bettering the situation.

The final decision of the FATF will be announced on 18 October. If found guilty, the country will have to face dire consequences and can even be isolated amongst international communities. A lot of opinions flooded social media. “So that you can together support terrorism, kill people, carry out gross human rights violations. #Pakistan is on the verge of being in ‘Dark Grey’ list by #FATF, yet it visibly continues supporting terrorism the world wants to condemn. #FATFshouldBlacklistPakistan”, tweeted Sajeda Akhtar.
