PM Modi arrives in Saudi Arabia

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, for his two day visit that started on Monday. Modi said that his latest visit to meet ministers at the Gulf country will help to enhance relations between India and Saudi Arabia.
Landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking the start of an important visit aimed at strengthening ties with a valued friend. Will be taking part in a wide range of programmes during this visit-Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.
Saudi is one of the biggest exporters of oil after Iraq to India which is world’s third highest oil consumers. According to Modi, India and Saudi are gearing up for bigger bilateral ties instead of just a buyer seller relationship. He also praised Saudi for contributing towards energy requirements of India. Upon reaching Saudi, Modi met with Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Minister of Labour and Social Development Ahmad bin Sulaiman Alrajhi of Saudi Arabia.
Modi will also be attending Saudi Arabia’s annual financial conference where he will meet with other leaders and hold talks. “In Saudi Arabia, PM Modi will deliver a keynote address at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) & an interaction with a moderator at the conference”, tweeted Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister of Minority Affairs of India.
