PM Modi attends mega event in US

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the mega event 'Howdy, Modi' in Houston, US yesterday.
The event was attended by more than 50,000 people, mostly the Indian community in Houston, Texas and was held at the NRG stadium.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "If you ask me, 'Howdy, Modi?', the answer is 'Everything is fine in India'.
PM Modi was accompanied by US President Donald Trump at the event and he spoke about supporting Trump for a second presidential term.
"We in India have connected well with President Trump, the words of candidate Trump, 'Ab ki baar Trump sarkar', rang loud and clear," he said.
PM Modi also spoke about his government's decision to revoke Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. "It is time to fight a decisive battle against terrorism and all those who promote terrorism," he added, asking the crowd to give Mr. Trump a standing ovation for his commitment to fighting terrorism.
President Trump also addressed the people and showed support for the Indian Prime Minister. "I hope to have some positive results from my talks with President Trump over the next few days," PM Modi said.
Donald Trump and PM Modi held hands and walked out of the stadium together while people cheered on.
The event was also attended by several US lawmakers, VIPs and around 400 artistes performed at the occasion.
