PM Modi celebrates 69th birthday at Gujarat

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 69th birthday in a grand way on Tuesday. One of the world's most celebrated political icon, Modi visited his hometown in Gujarat on the occasion of his birthday. He visited the Statue of Unity, which is the tallest statue in the world. Modi also ensured to pay a visit to the Sardar Sarovar Dam before meeting his mother Heeraben Modi. Social media was flooded with birthday wishes for Modi.

Modi had already reached Gujarat, where he was the Chief Minister, on Monday night. On Tuesday, he also addressed a gathering at Kevadia, a town which is almost 200 kms away from state capital Ahmedabad.
Last year, Modi had celebrated his birthday with school children at Varanasi where he had stood as a candidate for the Lok Sabha elections. Modi, who was re-elected as the Prime Minister of India for the second time is one of the most powerful leaders of the international community. He has made his mark amongst other top-notch leaders with his charisma and oratory skills. Modi is also one of the leaders to have the biggest fan following across the globe.
