#SiblingPower – Stories that capture this most powerful bond

You may fight with them bitterly and there may be times they let you down, but no one can deny the powerful role that siblings play in our lives. After all, few others besides your parents have been a part of your life since the time you could crawl. Through November, NewzHook series #SiblingPower highlighted stories of siblings who talk about the deep bonds they share, forged through times of joy and pain.
“A bond as important as that of a husband and wife, is the bond between siblings.” – From childhood, Rashmi and Jatin Patil share many common interests and passions. Rashmi is deaf and Suresh has autism and it is these interests that keep their bond strong even as they pursue higher studies.
“Brother and sister, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends” .- Born deaf, Kochi-based siblings Richard and Sophie Joe live up to these words every day in every way.
“Brothers and sisters can say things to one another that no one else can.” – They fight and love each other with equal passion – Sherin and Shreya Zachariah.
“There’s no other love like the love for a brother. There’s no other love like the love from a brother.” – Young autism advocate Nikita Bakhshi talks about how brother Pranav inspires her to seek the best within her.
Stories that capture the many ways in which the bond between siblings is so special.
