Virat Kohli is highest run scorer

Virat Kohli has become the highest run-scorer in T20I cricket format. The cricket star achieved this feat during the second T20I played against South Africa on Wednesday in Mohali, Punjab.
Kohli hit 72 runs off 52 balls, reaching the tally of 2,441 runs in T20I cricket, seven runs more than Rohit Sharma. Kohli now has 2,441 runs from 66 innings while Rohit has 2,434 runs from 89 innings.
Kohli is currently in top form and is the only batsman in international cricket to have 50-plus average in all three formats of the game.
For India the match became memorable as the team won by 7 wickets leading the three-match series by 1-0.
This is the first time that India defeated South Africa as the host after two T20Is losses in 2015.
Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi congratulated Kohli and tweeted, "Congratulations @imVkohli You are a great player indeed, wish you continued success, keep entertaining cricket fans all around the world.
"Brilliant from @imVkohli in a run chase yet again. Sublime strokeplay. Just so so so good to watch," tweeted Boria Majumdar
The third T20I between South Africa and India will be held in Bengaluru on Sunday.
