Blue jeggings for women with elasticised waistbands – Easy to wear for wheelchair users
Tops, sweaters, blouses – jeggings are a perfect counterpart to whatever the modern-day girl wants to wear.
These trendy, stretchy garments which lie at the intersection of leggings and jeans are a staple in any wardrobe as they offer a combination of comfort and style.
This week’s NH Lifestyle showcases blue jeggings with elasticised waistbands which are so easy to wear and take off for wheelchair users. No zipper, no buttons, no fuss. Which is exactly how international wheelchair basketball player and national wheelchair tennis player, Geeta Chauhan prefers her jeggings.

“I wear jeggings all the time because as a wheelchair user I like how it stretches and fits so closely on the legs. The one with elasticised waistbands are best for a wheelchair user like me because they are easy to wear and take off especially when I have to use the washroom. I own many blue jeggings in plain and printed designs, for regular and party wear.”
Here’s Geeta rocking a pair of blue jeggings in a ripped look.

Pune student activist Dikshna Dende, who works with Adventure Mantra, finds jeggings comfortable for both casual and formal wear.

“I own two pairs in black and blue. I wear black to work and blue for casual wear. I prefer the stretchable type because as a wheelchair user, loose ones tend to slip down. When someone picks you up from the wheelchair the back portion slips down and attracts stares. Elastic waistbands keep them firm”.
